We are committed to using eco-friendly processes and materials to minimise our impact on the environment. We do this by using FSC certified paper, vegetable based printing inks and biodegradable lamination and foils. Other products we offer include compostable paper cups as well as pens made from recycled paper or bamboo.
Continually evaluating and improving our practices is important for us as a business to be the very best we can be. We promise to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, to conserve finite resources and to reduce our environmental impact. Wherever possible, we look to source raw materials, products and services from companies with sound environmental credentials.
Recently we’ve been helping hotels to work on their green initiative to improve their hotels, look after the environment and encourage guests to do their bit to protect our planet and oceans.
– Towel cards encouraging guests to re-use towels
– Door hangers to swap housekeeping on their room for £5 added to their bar tab
– In-room reminders to inform guests of recycling schemes
– Running / cycling maps to encourage guests to run, walk or cycle
– Reminders to turn off the lights / taps when leaving the room
Some recent Crowne Plaza initiatives also include door hangers which guests can hang outside their room which notify housekeeping not to clean that particular room in exchange for £5 off their bar bill. Other incentives include towel cards to give guests the option of fresh towels every day, or to re-use them.
Hotel Jerbourg has just swapped their miniature single-use shampoos, conditioners and soaps for large refillable pumps to cut down on plastic waste.
If you’re keen on going green just give us a call to ask how we can help!
Aspenprint is also keen on going green – for every tree used for paper, two more are planted in its place.
Looking after our planet, together.
