Recently we’ve been helping hotels to work on their green initiative to improve their hotel, look after the environment and encourage guests to do their bit to protect our planet and oceans.
This includes our new range of eco pens which are made from bamboo and biodegradable materials as well as recycled paper for brochures and leaflets.
Other incentives also include in-room reminders to inform guests of recycling schemes, local cycling routes, turning off the lights, TV and saving water.
Some recent Crowne Plaza initiatives also include door hangers which guests can hang outside their room which notify housekeeping not to clean that particular room in exchange for £5 off their bar bill. Other incentives include towel cards to give guests the option of fresh towels every day, or to re-use them.
Hotel Jerbourg has just swapped their miniature single-use shampoos, conditioners and soaps for large refillable pumps to cut down on plastic waste.
